I’ve been collecting my thoughts for the last week about the Boston Wine Expo. First a few facts 1) The Expo was sold out for both of the two days 2) It was one of the largest education seminars in the country 3) Small was big.
We saw many fellow small producers at the show all looking for distributers and we did our best to introduce the out-of-towners to the locals. This was a good show if you were small. Absent were many of our friends from the large California wineries - too bad you missed a weekend of great wine and weather in the 30‘s. Through this show you could see a healthy crop of emerging wine producers from both inside and outside of the USA and the consumer - oh boy the consumer - well there where there in mass and hungry and thirsty for new wines and education. All of this I hope will bode well for wine. -
Cheers-
